About the event
Purim is a holiday of subversive joy in the face of a threatening world. Every year it invites us into the discomfort of turning everything upside down, blurring the boundaries of right and wrong, good and evil, to wrestle with our shadow sides. Join us for a family friendly, joyful way to spend Purim.
In this year's shpil, Elphaba and Glinda have just arrived at the Kol Tzedek School of Witchcraft and Magic, only to find that new executive orders from the Make Judaism Boring Again (MaJBA) movement have forbid them from creating their own magic. With their new friends, they set off on an eventful journey to find the Wizard and save the magical and creative Judaism they love.
We will not be serving dinner, but hamantaschen will be provided and this event is BYOB. Costumes encouraged for all ages.
