Miryam started social dancing at Oberlin College in 2011 (if you don't count her high school ballroom dance gym class). She taught blues dancing through the Experimental College at Oberlin. After graduation, she taught at Gotham City Blues in NYC, before moving to Philadelphia. She now teaches and organizes at Powerhouse Blues in Philly, as well as serving as one of the core organizers for the world-renowned event Blues Muse with her dance partner, Genevieve Senechal. Miryam has competed at Backwater Blues, BluesGeek, Steel City Blues and Nocturne Blues.

In addition to blues dance, Miryam also dances and teaches lindy hop & swing, fusion, and contact improvisation.

Is your community itching to get dancing? I offer group lessons and workshop accessible to different skill levels and ages.
Dancers of all levels can benefit from taking private lessons. I focus on connection, musicality and body mechanics. Love partner dancing but scared to venture into solo dancing? Definitely give me a call.
Learn to dance with your beloved and ace that first dance. The best part? You don’t have to choose who leads and who follows! Give the patriarchy and gender binaries the most elegant of middle fingers while you say I do!
